Akidemy is a group of bilingual Day Cares with several locations in the canton of Zurich. We offer our little customers a second home. Our bilingual groups are the perfect place to learn about our educational vision. We believe that children can already do a lot by themselves. We challenge children, stimulate their ingenuity and teach them to think in a solution-oriented way. This makes them resilient and ready for the future!

But how do we do it? A few examples: We work with passive toys at our sites. Blocks or balls, for example, stimulate the child's own creativity. As an educator, you prepare the rooms in the group with passive materials. The children can stack, collect, sort, and imitate. The children explore the materials in their own way and at their own pace! You also let the children make their own decisions and do things within their means.

• You have a genuine interest in the development of children.
• You have already gained experience as a group leader, you support your daycare management and you like to take responsibility for your group of children and your team.
• You have certified training as a childcare specialist or an equivalent pedagogical training recognized in Switzerland.
• You are energetic, upbeat and reliable. You have a good sense of empathy, are responsible, inquisitive and helpful and enjoy working in a team.
• In order to achieve the maximum with your team, you take on a coaching leadership role. You give your team responsibility and confidence to solve challenges to the best of their ability. You stimulate their growth as people and as professionals. You always find the right way to communicate. That's why emotional intelligence is especially important to us in this leadership position.
• You promote the independence of your employees and know how to inspire and motivate them for goals and tasks.
• You are fluent in German and have good command of English.

• Leading the group 
• Taking responsibility for a group of children and ensuring loving and dedicated care in accordance with our pedagogical concept
• Designing a daily routine that meets the needs and interests of the children aged 4 months to 4/5 years and supports their development
• Developing weekly programs and projects in close collaboration with your team to provide a varied and engaging learning environment for the children
• Provide leadership and guidance to a learner or intern
• Active participation in team meetings
