Healthy development in the early years provides the building blocks for educational achievement, lifelong health and successful parenting of the next generation.

Set the core to your child's development
If you have ever wondered how babies make sense of the world around them, why they seem to learn so rapidly, and how you can support their journey to knowledge and understanding, you have to join this course. Based on our pedagogical approach you gain insights on:
- What is there to learn?
- Developing at own pace, learning by doing
- Creating the right environment to stimulate learning
First, we will look at the skills children learn in their early years. Next, we will further explore how children learn. Finally, we will get to the core of which environment will bring the most positive influence on the development of children and how you, as a parent, can create this environment for your kids.
Jansje de Wit - Pedagogical Coach
My name is Jansje de Wit
‘My goal is to inspire and stimulate childcare professionals and parents to offer the care that children need and, most of all, deserve. I want them to be able to make the kids flourish and become the best version of themselves.’
Why is Jansje the right person?
- She has many years of experience in early childcare and development, in different roles, from teacher, coach, trainer and quality developer.
- She works for our Dutch partner CompaNanny in her role as Pedagogical Coach and Quality Developer & Trainer and guarantees highest pedagogical quality of childcare.
- She studied pedagogy and early child development. Jansje has a passion for coaching individuals and groups to get to know the why and how of child development.

- The course is held by Pedagogical Coach Jansje de Wit.
- Small group of up to 16 attendees.
- Course language is English.
The course is for all parents (expectant, first-time, more-time) - Akidemy clients and non-clients.

There are public parking spaces at Ottiker-/Culmannstrasse.
Costs for the 2-hour course:
CHF 20.00 for clients of the Akidemy Day Cares
CHF 30.00 for all other parents (non-clients of Akidemy Rigiplatz)

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations have to be submitted in writing by email. The following fees arise in case of a course cancellation and depend on the reception of the course cancellation: ·
- up to 30 days prior to course date: CHF 10 (administrative fee)
- up to 15 days prior to course date: 50% of course fee
- up to 1 week prior to course date: 75% of course fee
- during week prior to course date and no-show: 100% of course fee
